CECT I9 Accessories – Extras and Spares Are Readily Available and Inexpensive
I often write about and own many of these import, knock off iPhone clones and people sometimes tell me that although they would love to own one of these dual sim models, they hesitate because they think that it will be expensive or difficult to get accessories for it. The purpose of this article is to outline the most popular CECT accessories and to show the approximate cost (cheap) and availability (easy).
CECT i9 Instruction Manual, User’s Guide, Internet Set Up: Probably the biggest worry that people have about the CECT i9 is that they won’t be able to set up it up or sync it to work. This would be a real shame because now that this phone has Java, there are so many more productivity and gaming options available for this phone.
I find the set up to be pretty user friendly and there’s no software (the phone will read your sim card), but I’ve done this several times before and I understand that having instructions in front of you is often easier. The instructions aren’t all in Chinese, I promise. You can get instructions, set up and internet guides in any language imaginable, including English.
People sometimes worry about setting up the MMS on these phones. The instructions will walk you through this, for most all carriers (AT&T, T Mobile, Sprint, Cingular, etc.) and typically only cost a few bucks.
Memory And Sim Cards: The i9 has the dual sim feature so you will need two sim cards if you want to use this (although the phone will work fine if you don’t want to use it.) But, if you want or need a spare, it will cost well under $10.
Replacement Batteries: You can replace the battery yourself with the clones. You don’t need to go to the dealer when it dies. These phones are pretty efficient (with one of the longest talk and stand by times in the industry), but if you need a spare, they usually run under $2.
Car Chargers And Home Chargers For the I9: Most people charge their mobile phone every day (and having one for the car is usually a given) Home and car chargers for this model are often under $5.
Cases, Pouches And Skins: Consumers love to personalize their phones with cases and skins and the i9 is certainly no exception. You can usually get skins, cases and pouches in a wide variety of materials, colors and textures and more are becoming available all the time. Most times, you’ll pay anywhere from $5 – $10.
Screen Guards / Protective Covers: These thin little stick ons protect the i9’s touch screen from scratches, finger prints and damage. They are dirt cheap and in my opinion a no brainer.
Car Chargers And Home Chargers For the i9: Most people charge their mobile phone every day (and having one for the car is usually a given.) Home and car chargers for this model are often under $5.
Hands Free And Head Sets: This is one place where I might recommend you spend a few more dollars to get high quality speakers. CECT’s are known for and have very loud, sharp, crisp speakers. So, it doesn’t make sense to buy a pair of cheap head phones / sets that are going to take this sound quality away. Bluetooth headsets for this model are also very popular. But again, nothing here (even the highest quality models) runs over $20.

Should You Buy Nokia 5800 XpressMusic?
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is bound to be the phone of choice for the fun loving who likes to be entertained on the move. With a 3.2 megapixel camera with dual LED Flash component, underexposed photographs are a thing of the past. With higher megapixel sensor and better optic lens, photos taken with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic retain the clarity and atmosphere of the moment.
The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic also comes with a robust photo editor which allows you to edit photos as soon as they are taken, and share almost instantly with your loved ones through MMS, email, bluetooth or Wi-Fi, whichever comes in handy.
As a touch screen phone, the 5800 XpressMusic is seen as Nokia’s first full fledge attempt to rival iPhone with a phone that comes with better features at a lower price. The 5800’s camera is a 3.2MP one equipped with the same lens all the top Nokia phones have – manufactured by Carl Zeiss. The camera comes with auto focus and is assisted by its bright LED flash. Aptly named XpressMusic, the Nokia 5800 features a very loud speaker for any phone. Wi-Fi is becoming increasingly important to many users since there is a much better availability of it worldwide, and the 5800 fills this spot nicely. Finally, GPS is included so you can tell where you are using Nokia maps, or use the wide variety of Google applications to let your know where you are (or also where they are), or to navigate your way to the next gig.
On the software front, the 5800 has adopted a touch screen version of the Symbian operating system that its siblings use – S60. This is a highly functional mobile operating system which has been widely seen in phones across the N-Series. Moreover, due to its popularity, there are many applications available on Nokia Store and other portal which you may download for a small fee to add a new game or capability for your phone.
Additionally, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is able to support email attachments, enhancing communication capacity between you, your family, friends, and business associates. The ability to support email attachments changes the face of email communication via the simple cell phone.
The music player supports mainstream music formats in MP3, AAC, eAAC and WMA. Whether you’re into the constant sound of tunes in your ears, the ability to record you life and save it effortlessly, or keeping a traveling relative in touch with daily events, the Nokia 5800 is the multimedia gadget of choice. For a low price point compare to many phones offering similar features, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic proves to be an attractive buy.
